Now that fall is finally here in mid-TN the grass seed is really starting to germinate. So far it looks great. I can't wait for it to all fill in and see the difference.

On October 11th there was significant signs of germination. Probably had germination on the 10th but since we had a rain for two days straight I wasn’t able to see it. Best seed I have ever planted.

I've done several yard renovations over the last few years. I started with box store seeds(Scotts, pennington, etc.) Then I went to a local seed, they all did okay. I decided I wanted to see if a better seed would produce a better result, just to get better return on my labor. This stuff is outstanding. First, it's just seed, so you're not paying 25 pounds of seed prices to get 12 and a half pounds of seed and 12 and a half pounds of cheap fertilizer. But what's really impressed me is the percentage of seeds that germinated and produced is at least 25% more than the others. It's just starting, like 3/4" high, and the density of the grass coverage is so much higher than anything else I've used. I would highly recommend

Started fall seeding here in N.J.Last year was the first.Had very tall different looking thick grass, very impressive.So I overseeded front and back lawns the other day with slight starter fertilizer, organic compost and will gently water 2x daily.So I am expecting great results.

I never leave reviews but had to come back and give this 5 stars. I've used a lot of different seed in the past and it never truly took off. My front yard has always had huge completely dead and bare spots. I put down a 25lb bag in the front on a Thursday and by the next Thursday you couldn't even tell I put seed down, the yard was completely full and filled in like it was always a full and healthy lawn. The backyard was even worse. I put another 25lb bag down in the backyard where I have never been able to get grass to grow and within a week all of the dead empty spots that have never sprouted seed have 3"+ of new grass. I can't recommend this seed enough, definitely worth the money. I did cover the new seed with peat moss and we got a lot of rain and I watered consistently but I've done all this in the past with other seed and never had these results. I can confidently say this seed gave me hope that my yard can have a full and healthy lawn and I won't be buying any other seed moving forward.

Grass seed is all hype, doesn’t germinate well, it’s miss or hit with this grass seed! I would purchase something better, don’t waste your money this grass seed is too high to perform so poorly, you’ve been warned, don’t waste your money like many of us have!

I did not have success with germination using this product, despite detaching my lawn and aerating prior. Got plenty of water, too.
Plus. Much of the seed was in the shipping box (not the bag) when I opened the box, the bag already had a hole in it.

I put it down as an over seed over Labor Day weekend. It took 8 or 9 days to germinate to where I could see baby sprouts. As of today, 13 days after planting the sprouts are an 1 1/2” tall so looks to be growing well. I’m hoping for a thicker lawn combining the TYTF with existing Kentucky blue grass/ perennial rye grass blend from Lawn Life that I put down last fall. I’ll be able to give a better assessment of the TTTF later in the fall.

I ran an experiment. I over seeded and patched with this seed 5 days ago in my front yard and I overseeded and patched with a “cheaper” brand in my backyard at the same time.
I have been consistently watering and keeping the ground damp to promote germination.
After 5 days, the front yard shows no growth. The backyard has been taking off.
Draw your own conclusions. I will report back in a week.
