Glad I found this grass seed for my back yard renovation. Germination was quick and I’m on my 3 mowing. It’s looking great! Going to use the same seed on the front years next spring.

Even as a sprouting seedlings it is shades darker than most! I recently tried Barenbrug PRG that has genetics to spread like bluegrass, which all other PRG does not. That only has a small % of the seed that spreads and it was lime green in color. Nightshift had a great germ rate, 0% weed seed, and is dark green from the beginning! Time will tell on drought tolerance. However, it is off to an amazing start.

Let me just say this is the real deal. Literally had growth the first 2 days ! The germination was super fast. Ive had people stop and ask how I did it and I show them lawnlife . I love the products and keeps me coming back for more. Let the pictures speak for themselves.

I just seeded my (dead) lawn a few weeks ago and am completely amazed with this product! It is actually growing, very quickly. As advertised! I have tried many different brands and all have failed. I highly recommend this product!

Amazing results. First 2 days I watered 3x’s a day 5 minutes each zone.Then went to 2 x’s a day. By the 5th day 90% of the new lawn came in. Planning on mowing tomorrow (day10). It looks amazing. Can’t wait to mow… 5 star product. I did get lucky w some light showers the 1st week. Night Shift is the only seed I’ll ever use !

Great rye grass! Watered 3 times a day in September in Detroit Michigan. After 4 dys and it germinated! Very happy! Btw, this was an overseed. It looked terrible at first, now look at almost two weeks later. Awesome!

I have never experienced a grass seed that germinates so quickly with deep green color. Great product will be my go-to grass seed for my lawn.

We used this last month for overseeding and wow! I'm amazed at how well it all grew in with the help of your Dark Matter starter fertilizer. It even grew in along the cracks on our sidewalk. We went from half our yard eaten by grubs last spring to now getting compliments from neighbors.
I will continue to use this seed each season to crowd out the weeds and fill in the small vacancies after killing weeds.
Thank you! Never again will I buy grass seed from big box stores. This has even convinced my hubby that it's worth it to get the better quality.

It sprouted at 7 days to 10 days. It is 2 weeks post planting and has a really nice green color. My biggest challenge now is how fast I should back off on watering so it is not too wet to mow with a Toro Recycler.. Also when and what kind of fertilizer should I use to prepare it for the winter in wet Washington state?

Overseeding with this seed was amazing. The seed came up in 4-5 days, without fertilizer.

It came up in most areas but in others, it did not sprout. It looks good in the areas that it did come up though.

hello all this grass seed is amazing seeded new lawn on 8/30/2026 and today on 9/7/2026 and my grass came in great evenly covered and is almost a inch tall already and has a Florissant green look right now this is by far leaps and bounds over any big box store seed from now on this will be the only seed that i will ever use.
