II couldn't be happier with Dark:30 grass seed. After preparing the lawn, seeding, covering with peat moss, and staying consistent with watering, germination was quick and uniform. Within days I started seeing tiny seedlings emerge, and the new grass continues to fill in nicely.

What impressed me most was how dense and healthy the turf looks compared to other seed blends I've used. The color is excellent, and the seedlings have come up evenly across the renovated areas. Even in some of the tougher spots, I've had good establishment and growth.

If you're willing to do the proper prep work and keep up with watering, Dark:30 delivers outstanding results. I highly recommend it to anyone looking for a premium cool-season lawn with great color, density, and overall appearance.

This seed did so phenomenal with my fall overseed, I’m seriously considering. Doing an entire overhaul with just this seed & replacing the TTTF & KBG. Let’s see how resilient it is over next summer before I make that determination. 10 outta 10, highly recommend.

I don’t write reviews much, but this seed is great! Having great growth in just 7 days. I scalped, de thatched, aerated, over seeded with this, then laid a layer of peet moss over the lawn. This is coming in dark green and lush. Really filling everything in well. Highly recommend!

Great seed love the dark green color, fast germination in 6 days

The grass germinated fast in 5 days but not getting the lush grow out that I expected after the 2 weeks following, in what are ideal conditions of a complete sod removal, 4” of premium tilled top soil, re seeding of light spots, watering 3xs day to keep soil/seed moist. Ended up slit seeding with a commercial rental, to try to fill in on a third attempt at week 3 Hopefully that will bring it up better.

Great perennial ryegrass. Recently did a full lawn renovation and the grass is now growing in. About two weeks since seeding, and the lawn has a dark green foundation even when the seedlings are far from fully developed. Once the lawn is fully grown in and the grass is mature I plan to send in some photos

Dark 30 is an excellent grass seed. The final results were amazing.

This stuff is insane it made my lawn so dark that it looks like it came from another world with fertilizer.

I like the Dark 30 grass seed it came up well with know problem, but the first time I used dark 30 it was very dark just what I was looking for. But I don't know why it has to be the seed it was not dark green like the seed I planet last year. WHY?

Everything was great

Pretty good so far. Great for fall as it pops up super quick. Isn't as dark green yet but is a fine bladed grass that germinates well. Coming up dense and success rate is through the roof. I even pushed it and overseeded 2 weeks after doing weed killer....didn't phase it one bit.

Fall overseed with some decent bare patches filled in really well. Was seeing germination on day 5, eastern Washington.

This stuff looks great. I am pleasantly surprised at how well it has blended in. We overseeded our yard in Central Illinois with aeration and seeding, and seeded other areas that had been bare. It has filled in really nicely. My yard is looking great. And a nice dark green color.

It germinated in 4-5 days and is starting to turn dark green in about 12 days. I'm amazed at the quality of the seed. I highly recommend if you are looking for a fast germinating premium seed.
